Our senior adults lend wisdom, stability and other resources to our congregation. We strive to provide activities and opportunities for all ages, including our seniors.
We realize that “older” does not necessarily imply “less active”. With this understanding, our church has a group of volunteers who leads and directs various activities of our senior adults. We seek to meet the needs of senior adults through various ministries.
Connect Groups
Connect Groups are offered Sunday mornings at 9/10:30 AM. We have group classes for men, women and couples. We hope you will visit us soon.
Fellowships
We have a fellowship luncheon with a guest speaker throughout the year.
Our Senior Adults also, gather to take trips together throughout the year. Some of the trips they have taken in the past are: Branson Jubilee Conference, Sikeston, Williams Baptist University Golden Age Conference, and more.
There are two banquets a year, one around Valentine's Day and the other around Christmas. Both banquets have a entertainment followed by a meal.
Once a quarter we meet up with other senior adults in the Greene County Baptist Association for fellowship.
Homebound
For those who are not physically able to attend worship services and other church activities, our Homebound Ministry is dedicated to meeting the spiritual and practical needs of each homebound member.
